Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 25-15-201 et seq., notice is hereby given that the Capitol Zoning District Commission (CZDC) is considering proposed revisions to the rules and master plan for the agency.
The proposed revisions to the rules include: combining all agency rules into one document; clarifying appeal procedures; rezoning several blocks in the State Capitol Area; reducing current parking requirements by half; revising rules for group homes, cell towers, and signs for consistency with federal law; and establishing standards for outdoor lighting and for tree protection. The revisions will also standardize the formatting of the document, and eliminate redundant material.

Written comments from the public will be accepted if received prior to 4:30 PM on October 11, 2016. Written comments may be mailed to CZDC at 410 South Battery Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. They may also be faxed to 501-324-9631 or emailed to email@example.com.
In addition to written comments, the Commission will also accept comments at a public hearing to be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the CZDC offices, 410 South Battery Street in Little Rock.
